Shipping Policy


At Plum28, we arrange for your order to be shipped via the most dependable, quickest, and safest way possible. Since most items are shipping directly from the suppliers, items ordered together may not ship in the same box.

We have established strong relationships with some of the best delivery companies nationwide. Every product on our site has been carefully selected to ship by a particular shipping method in order to provide you with an optimal delivery experience. We will notify you, via email, when your order ships.  Included in your email will be a tracking number for your shipment. We encourage you to track your package with the carrier. Most companies can provide an estimated delivery date. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of the shipment.

Depending on the size and weight of the items ordered, it may ship small parcel, truck delivery or white glove. Please note that some products may require some assembly. See below for details on each of these services.

Small Parcel – Whenever possible we will ship smaller, lighter items via UPS, FEDEX or USPS. These companies provide the fastest and most reliable method of shipping available for many items we sell.  Your item should arrive between 2 and 6 business days (2 to 10 business days for USPS) after it leaves the warehouse. We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person.  If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Include your name and tracking number on the note.

Truck Freight - Threshold Delivery - Many items on our website are too large and/or heavy to ship via UPS/FedEx. Truck Delivery is different than standard UPS, FedEx, or US Mail in two ways. (1) Once your merchandise arrives at the delivery agent's pick-up location, he/she will call you to set up a delivery appointment. Most truck delivery companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. (2) The products will be delivered to the threshold of a residential address or to the loading dock if a commercial delivery. They are not authorized to assemble products or to place the item in the room of your choice.  At the time your merchandise leaves the warehouse, we will email you the tracking information and you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. In this event, it is your responsibility to directly pay the truck delivery carrier for any additional services.

White Glove Delivery – Fragile or large items may be delivered by a white glove freight carrier for the safest and most convenient delivery to you.  With white glove delivery, most items are brought into your home, unpacked and the packaging removed.  Delivery is by appointment.  Our delivery service will contact you to arrange the day and time.

Please make sure that you inspect the package(s) at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason you are concerned with its packaging or delivery, please write, “Product Damaged” clearly on the sheet the delivery agent asks you to sign. This insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem, and your order will be fulfilled as soon as possible.  If a situation arises, we will be glad to help during the process of filing a claim with the carrier to ensure that our customers are fully satisfied.

At the present time,  Plum28 ships to addresses in the Continental United States. Shipping costs as well as "Free Shipping" specials are therefore only valid for addresses in the Continental United States. At the present time Plum28 is not able to ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada.

All shipping estimates listed on Plum28 are approximate and we always strive to adhere to them as closely as possible. Unfortunately, these estimates depend on variables such as product availability from the manufacturer as well as shipping delays en route to our facility. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for beating or exceeding originally expected delivery estimates that are caused by factors that are beyond our control.
